Planning outcome planning

Drawing on several different applications of outcome planning, and a range of assignments, we have produced a 'briefing note' which helps to assess several different approaches to outcome planning.

Several of our clients - Birmingham and Coventry LSPs, for example - have begun to make much more extensive use of joint outcome planning across a wide range of service areas in which performance improvement is a concern.

We have helped with numerous partnership reviews over the years. The need to efficiently and meaningfully review partnerships is even more topical now that

 

  • partnership working is central to the development and delivery of plausible LAAs
  • the Audit Commission includes partnerships in its inspection frameworks
  • joint ventures are more & more a feature of service improvement & delivery
