Tool for mapping delivery chains

Thinking about delivery chains can help with understanding systems of delivery that several organisations make up. It can help to structure problem solving and related activity designed to make clear/er to partners what is critical to changing performance.

 

We have developed various tools and techniques for exploring this.

 

• the yellow hexagons (search on renewal.net) can help with creating 'pictures' and 'client journeys' through delivery systems
• the transactions at each link in the chain can be explored
• the capacity of the whole chain to improve outcomes can be analysed
